Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
“Rust and restrictions”
If you’re feeling weak
Hold steady
If the hull has a leak
I’m ready
Lose grasp on the rope
but not your life
and with every lost friend
turn the knife
To prevent & persevere
Our future is up to fate
I don’t hope, I fear
your words, too little too late
Rust and restrictions, a calming affliction
The heard is not always clearly seen
like the subtext in the lines between
I will not rot
I will not subside
this all I’ve got
I will not abide

Introducing a new cover series: Everything Goes Pop Punk. I have lots of songs I’ve been playing with covering for a while: some pop punk, and some completely not. I finally feel like I have time to do some of them (and a way to record them so they don’t sound like shit). A lot of them will probably be done acoustic to keep it cheap, but I’m going to try and have as much fun with it as possible, and you should too! So musically inclined friends feel free to chime and help me do a cover or two! Friends, I will take suggestions and requests, so what do you say, you with me?
Apparently my haircut reminds my friend of Pstump. I’m SO okay with this.
One more reblog of my original Christmas song because it’s Christmas Eve: Holiday Hopeful

because you can use the “the name doesn’t matter” argument all you want-Fuck you of course the name matters. Kaytee wouldn’t check out Chunk No Captain Chunk on principle. The name of your band is a key marketing point. It needs to be familiar, but unique. It has to be easy to remember and pronounce (and honestly spell). If you name your band something long it’s going to get abbreviated, or become an acronym. (for instance like FTSK, good for fans, bad for business). Ideally, I think it should also have some meaning. I’ve been thinking about it for weeks, trying to find a good name for my new project. (I also clearly suck at naming shit, my previous band was called Connery). So with all this in mind, any suggestions?
New Icon? trying it out, may switch back to B&W.
Handsome dudes to look at!
Zach thinks I’m handsome, Also: this is the picture a porn blog re-blogged.
Throwback. Found this gem on my old Blackberry. All I really remember about this day was Jake being late and trying my hardest not to laugh at Matt’s various creeper winks during the taping. I miss hanging/babysitting the @conneryrock dudes.
Miss you too buddy. I miss Connery too.
L.O.L“you’re friends with @jakesonaplane right?”
Re-blogging because I wish I could dress like this everyday. Apparently this is what I’m wearing when Tara Ashlee finally does a shoot with me.
